Avet M.C. Cast frame conversions to upgrade your non-M.C. Avet Reel to our easy to use M.C. magnetic anti-backlash system. Includes a specially machined frame designed to accept the adjustable M.C. unit, M.C. Cast assembly, clicker assembly and rod mounting foot. Doesn’t

Avet Rod Clamp Kits
Avet replacement rod clamps are machined from solid 6061 T-6 aluminum and anodized to match your reel. Avet Clamps are thoughtfully designed to be installed even when the reel spool is full of line, no need to strip line or disassemble the reel to install the mounting studs from the inside! "South Florida" and "Kodiak" Cam
The South Florida and Kodiak cam is a replacement drag adjustment cam with a less aggressive ramp profile to allow a finer lever adjustment range for extremely light drag settings. Very popular for light line sailfish and tournament kingfish with LX and JX models, and salmon and other light line species for the SX - MX models. Choose the cam insert for a permanent retrofit to your reel, or choose the arm with the cam already installed for quick "no tools" changeability back to the original aggressive cam when needed. Specify color when ordering the arm. We suggest ordering a different color arm to easily distinguish from the original arm with the standard cam. These cams do not have the "Bait Setting" detent, for ultra fine lever adjustment immediately from the free-spool position forward. For cam installation instructions, CLICK HERE.

Trigger Seat Foot
Specially machined rod mounting foot for SX and MX models designed to fit most rods with graphite trigger reels seats. The Trigger Seat Foot features a rounded “duckbill” shape on one end to fit securely into the shallow rear hood on a graphite trigger seat. This foot will work on trigger seats as well as standard reel seats. Specify reel model and color when ordering.

Power Handle
The handles on all current model Avet casting reels are interchangeable between all single speed models SX thru HXW, and also interchangeable between all 2-speed models SX thru HXW. They are NOT interchangeable between single and 2-speed models, as the drive shaft hole size is different. To order a "power handle" (longer length / more leverage) simply order the handle length for a larger reel model. The table below indicates the handle lengths that come by default on Avet Reels. Specify single or 2-speed, and color when ordering.

Avet Lube And Grease
Keep your Avet Reels in peak performance condition with regular maintenance and our specially formulated lubricants. This is the same lube and grease used in our factory. Avet Grease is used on gears, cams, clickers..any high friction areas. Lube is used on shafts, bearings, gear shift mechanisms, or any light friction areas that require silky smooth operation. NOT FOR USE ON AVET DRAGS...Avet reels perform best with dry drags.
